Process Technician
Jon Collins

How long have you worked for Cedo?
I started working for Cedo in 1995. I initially heard about the role from a colleague and when the company I worked for closed, I applied. I initially started as a Foreman in Production and then progressed to a Senior Forman and then Section Leader. From the Section Leader I moved into the Cell Leader role and in January 2020 I was promoted into my current role of Process Technician.

What is does your current role involve?
Currently my main role as a Process Technician is to monitor the overall production process for efficiencies, I look at the amount of scrap and support with problem solving. I am also involved in a number of projects which will ultimately support the production process.

What do you enjoy most about working at Cedo?
Initially it was the shift as this fit in really well with my family life, however I have had opportunities both personally and professionally to learn and grow.

Packer
Mathew Ansahin

How long have you worked for Cedo?
I initially started with Cedo with a temporary agency working as a Packer in 2016. I was lucky enough to work in a number of the units within Cedo. In 2017 I was taken on, on a permanent basis. For me this was great as I felt like I belonged at Cedo.

What is does your current role involve?
I am a member of the Packing team. My role is to ensure the roles that are produced have the correct labels on and these are to the customer specifications before packing them in the correct boxes.

What do you enjoy most about working at Cedo?
The people I work with are great, we have a great team atmosphere, we all work together which is great for me.

Shift Coordinator
Bryn Watkin

How long have you worked for Cedo?
I have worked for Cedo for 24 years. I started as a Packer and quickly transferred to be an Operator. I worked hard and took every opportunity to learn and increase my knowledge which paid off as I was promoted to Forman and then Senior Forman and in 2018 to Cell Leader. In June 2020, I was promoted to Shift Coordinator taking overall responsibility for the whole shift.

What is does your current role involve?
My role of Shift Coordinator is to take full ownership of the night shift. I am responsible for a team of Cell Leaders and ultimately around 50 employees. I ensure that production is running and any issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently and ensure that we handover smoothly to the day shift.

What do you enjoy most about working at Cedo?
I have been given opportunities to grow and develop. Cedo have a range of benefits from a health care cash plan, free hot drinks and a good holiday allowance. The shifts have always worked well for me too.
